The following information has been compiled to provide you with updated information on sales in Santa Fe and its surrounding areas from October 1, 2013 to October 30, 2013. These statistics are for all residential home sales including single-family homes, condos, and townhomes.

There were a total of 156 home sales during this time period ranging in price from $60,000 to $3,950,000.  The number of sales this month was up from 152 homes sold in September 2013. Total sales volume for October was $71,870,652, down from $73,474,826 in September 2013.

The average sales price in October was $460,709, down from the average sales price of $483,387 for the month of September. The median sales price was $348,000, down from $377,862 in September.  The average number of days on the market was 161, which is less than the 180 average days on the market for September.  Here is how number of sales per price-band reported in this month:

·   79 homes sold for under $350,000

·   41 homes sold from $350,001 to $500,000

·   24 homes sold from $500,001 to $1,000,000

·   12 homes sold from $1,000,001 to $3,950,000

The $3,950,000 sale was the largest sale so far in the MLS for 2013.
