Biography for Laurie Hilton

A third-generation real estate broker, Laurie Hilton, moved to Santa Fe in 1987 after a successful career with Whirlpool Corporation. She then collaborated with her husband in establishing a homebuilding business before becoming a licensed broker in 2007. Laurie’s success in the Land of Enchantment stems, in part, from her roots in rural West Texas. Growing up on a cotton farm instilled a strong ethic of hard work and integrity and it also taught her to love and respect the land.

Laurie’s clients appreciate her dedication and tenacity, and that she is personable and knowledgeable. Her background in construction and finance and her “can-do” attitude are all attributes that have enabled her to effectively navigate challenging transactions and have garnered the respect and loyalty of many grateful clients.

In addition to licensing requirements, Laurie has furthered her real estate education by obtaining numerous designations and accreditations including, ABR, CRS, GRI, GREEN, E-pro, SRS, AHWD, and most recently the Santa Fe Specialist designation that encompasses the unique facets of the real estate business in the City Different.
