Biography for Doug Pinto

Doug Pinto is a native of Connecticut and lived and worked for many years in New York City. In 1994, he moved to Salida, Colorado with his wife Jane to reside on his historic family ranch. Together, Doug and Jane began a twenty five year entrepreneurial journey of creating mission based companies devoted to people, purpose and profits.

In 2005, Doug and Jane co-founded Pinon Real Estate Group, a boutique firm focused on values, relationships and the environment. Pinon Real Estate Group quickly became the leading brokerage in sales and community impact. After the sale of Pinon Real Estate Group, Doug co-founded Pinto Barn, a family- owned natural products company. In 2013 Pinto Barn designed and built one of the countrys first dedicated nut-free food production facilities where their first brand Dont Go Nuts is produced and distributed globally today.

Doug and his family moved to Santa Fe in 2015 for his twins to attend Santa Fe Prep. He is excited to use his life experience as an entrepreneur, father, husband and friend to guide people in their real estate needs. Doug resides in Santa Fe with his wife Jane, founder of First Crop and three four legged beloveds.
