Our new restaurant, izanami, will complete your spa experience. It is izakaya dining, serving exquisite Japanese-inspired small plates in a casual farmhouse setting.

We feature robata-style meats and vegetables grilled over charcoal, salads, fresh tofu, melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef, lightly-fried kushiage, house-made pickles, great coffee, desserts, and the best selection of Japanese beer and artisanal sake west of New York and east of Tokyo. PS: No Fish--we're a thousand miles from the ocean!

In nice weather we'll also have the most beautiful patio in Santa Fe. Open 11 am-10 pm every day of the year.

After years of planning and dreaming, our japanese-inspired restaurant izanami will open this month. don't expect the usual. There will be NO SUSHI (we're a thousand miles from the ocean), no soggy tempura, definitely no sickly-sweet, hot sake that has given sake such a bad rap. izanami will be a true izakaya (japanese gastro-pub) featuring creatively prepared, locally-sourced meat and produce with an emphasis on seasonality. We'll also have a wonderful selection of green teas from shizuoka, japan, locally roasted coffee drinks, ten different Japanese craft beers, and the best selection of artisanal microbrew cold sake between the coasts (yes, please challenge us on this!).

Sit at the counter to experience the pyrotechnics of our charcoal grill. Or choose a custom-made, private booth, a cozy table for two, floor seating in the garden-side tatami room, or a chair at the nakashima-esqe communal table. In nice weather, views across the valley will make ours the best patio in Santa Fe.
