Show House Santa Fe 2016

I am putting this absolutely-elegant fundraising event on my calendar EVERY YEAR from this point forward. EVERYTHING OLD MEXICO IS NEW MEXICO AGAIN – is this years’ theme, and twenty Santa Fe Designers have spent weeks transforming the interior of a magnificent, historic east side home into a wonderland of color, texture and panache. This lavish home was part of the estate of the famous White Sisters – Martha and Amelia – who ‘discovered’ Santa Fe in the early 1920’s and were major patrons and promoters of Native American Art.

Spirit of a Studio

Santa Fe is the second largest art market in the country after New York; and is it any wonder since there are more than 200 glorious galleries and thousand of artists that call Santa Fe home. A walk down the famous CANYON ROAD arts district is a visual treat and can take you the better part of a day to meander through all the galleries and shops – many in wonderful old adobe buildings that are an art-form in themselves.
