Main residence: central force air heating throughout and back-up electric baseboard heating in some rooms. New windows were installed and the kitchen and guest bath were remodeled in 2011. New stucco was added in 2012. In 2013 a membrane roof was installed on the east side of main house and guest house. The tar and gravel roof on west side of main house was upgraded at this time.

Guest house: The guest house, which originated as stables, and was completed in year 2000, features brick and wood plank flooring, brick on sand and slab and frame construction, tankless hot water and a grey water system. The original structure did not house horses.
