    Biography for Victoria Murphy

Victoria Murphy is a descendant of some of Santa Fes earliest Spanish settlers and strives to connect the citys newest residents to the rich past. Victoria loves working in real estate and the constant opportunity to meet new people and explore Santa Fes homes. She grew up surround by the history and architecture of Santa Fe and they are integral parts of her identity. On her mothers side, the Sosayas, Roybals and Gonzales, her family has been in Santa Fe since 1598. Her grandfather was a builder who constructed many of the classic homes on the Eastside and laid out several of the most historic streets, Sosaya Lane, San Antonio and San Pasqual.

Victorias mother is a nationally celebrated Hispanic artist, Monica Sosaya Halford and her father, Richard Halford, was a renowned architect who designed many downtown buildings and homes. He also owned a small real estate company, La Mancha Realty, and had always hoped his daughter would follow him into the business. Much to his delight she eventually did!
